Multi-age Preschool Class​
Tiger Time is designed for a multi-age group of preschoolers ages 3 to 5. Each child is assessed as an individual while also participating in whole group activities. Centers and projects are designed to meet each child's individual needs while promoting growth as a group. Three year old students work on beginning preschool skills while 4 and 5 year olds work on preparing for Kindergarten. Three year olds are automatically enrolled for 2 years as they move forward in the program.
​Daily Routine

​Our day begins with a class meeting at our gathering rug. During the morning meeting the class participates in the pledge of allegiance, calendar, the weather forecast, counting and letter recitation, and music and movement. We also listen to a daily story and learn a new letter each week. The remainder of the school day contains both small and large group activities centered on literacy and phonics, math, science, art, music, and self-care. The class eats snacks and lunch together and has 30 minutes of outdoor play!
Preparing for Kindergarten

Tiger Time helps to teach important social skills, improve cognitive skills, and prepare your child for Kindergarten! In addition to strengthening socialization skills -- how to compromise, be respectful of others, and problem-solve -- Tiger Time will provide a place where your child can gain a sense of self, explore, play with peers, and build confidence while gaining academic knowledge. All of these things help them be better prepared for entering Kindergarten when the time comes.
